As a professionally qualified Executive Assistant, I am really proud to look back at my career to see how far I have travelled since I left school and started my very first job as a Junior Secretary for an Accountancy firm in Portsmouth, England. With all the technological advances we take for granted today that provide instant access to people, information, knowledge, remote working, it’s easy to see how things have changed.

During that time, I had two fabulous children, both of whom are now grown up and following their own path in life. I have lived in England, Wales, Scotland and overseas, finally moving back to my home town of Gosport in Hampshire. My time abroad wasn’t much of a gap year in comparison to today, but I have been to some very beautiful places, experienced different cultures and adventures that have given me a lifelong love of travel and tourism.

The children growing up and leaving home left me with the prospect of suffering empty nest syndrome so I decided I needed something else to nurture and watch grow. The choice was another cat or to take the next logical step and develop my own business! 

Throughout my career I have provided executive, business development, back-office and HR support within small, medium and large organisations across the UK, supporting VPs, CEOs, MDs and executive teams. I have always enjoyed organising, creating that sense of order and managing the mayhem. Being the go to person to get something done or to make sure that I got the right person to the right place with everything they needed for their trip or meeting.  Harnessing that passion led to me establishing Bridge VA Solutions. 

I know the challenges faced by people in business leadership roles and am experienced in supporting them. I’m here to be your admin support, to help you recalibrate your life/work balance, to free up your time so that you can focus on the important tasks and to do more of what you love and less of what you don’t. 

Working together is easy thanks to mobile, internet & digital tools. The benefits of working with me as your virtual assistant are that I can work flexibly & remotely, wherever I am and wherever you are. Based in Gosport, Hampshire, I love working with local clients, enjoying a coffee as we chat, but I also have clients internationally and enjoy the variety that this presents.
